The Realix SBUS/DMX Box can operate either as an SBUS Box or as a DMX Box, selected with a simple switch on the device.
In SBUS mode, the Box connects and powers up to 16 Realix Pods using standard Ethernet cables. Both data and power (12V-24V DC) run over the same line, keeping installation simple and scalable. Pods are automatically recognized by the ERC system, and multiple units can be daisy-chained up 25m at 12V to 100 m at 24V.
In DMX mode, the Box provides one full DMX universe (512 channels) to control DMX-compatible lighting and effects such as dimmers, strobes, and color changers. If more channels are needed, additional Boxes can be added, each automatically discovered in the ERC Designer.
