The Realix Control Pod is designed to operate magnetic locks and other powered devices in your escape room. It connects to the SBUS, with its electronics powered directly through the Ethernet cable by the SBUS Box, and is automatically recognized by the system.
Each Pod offers:
2 isolated solid-state outputs, powered by an external 5–24 V DC supply. The voltage on the outputs equals the supplied external power, making them suitable for devices such as magnetic locks, powered mechanisms, or LED lights (up to 24 W per channel).
2 digital inputs for monitoring door sensors, switches, or push buttons (dry contact or 0–5 V signals).
This combination makes the Control Pod especially suitable for managing doors, where each lock output can be paired with a corresponding sensor input.
Multiple Pods can be connected in a daisy chain using standard Ethernet cables, reducing wiring effort and keeping installation clean and scalable. The Control Pod can also be mounted on a DIN-rail using standard DIN-rail adapters, making it easy to integrate into technical setups.
